We are so excited to proclaim God’s goodness and faithfulness through the testimony of this garden, which opened in the Spring of 2015. Learn more by visiting the Seeds of New Life website here!

Goals

1) To foster community among the garden members by providing a safe, welcoming atmosphere
2) To provide basic support to the community at large

About

The community garden has approximately 30 individual garden plots available for rent. The plots measure at 50 square feet and 200 square feet. The entire space is enclosed with a 15 ft. deer fence and locked with a combination lock. Any community member can become a gardener with us by paying a small fee and working in the collaborative church garden. You can find out more about how the garden works by reading through the SONL Regulations and SONL Waiver, found on the Seeds of New Life website.

In the household plots, everyone can garden at his or her own discretion. We have some shared tools and seeds and a locked garage where you are welcome to store your materials. In the church garden, everyone works together to grow food which is donated to local charities. Each season, we host potluck gatherings to make sure everyone has the opportunity to get to know each other.
